Delete your account and data

Streak Todo is a local-first app. Almost all of your data lives on your device, so most of it can be deleted without contacting us. Account-linked analytics records that left your device require an email request, which we honour within 30 days.

1. Delete the data on your device

Open the Profile tab. Under Data, tap Reset local data. This permanently removes every task, subtask, category, reminder, repeat rule, and note stored on this device. Default categories are recreated so the app is usable again afterwards.

Uninstalling the app also removes everything on-device, including the saved Google sign-in token.

2. Sign out of your Google account in the app

On the same Profile tab, tap Sign out. This:

• clears the saved Google sign-in token from secure device storage
• resets the analytics identity so future events from this device are not attached to your Google account

3. Request deletion of analytics already collected

Sign-out and uninstall stop future events but they do not retroactively remove events the app has already sent to our analytics provider (Mixpanel, EU region). The app does not currently include an in-app button to delete already-collected analytics — those records have to be removed manually.

To request deletion, email [email protected] with:

• subject: Delete my analytics data
• the email address you signed in with (so we can find the right record)

We process the request via Mixpanel's GDPR data-deletion API and confirm completion within 30 days, in line with applicable data-protection law.

What is deleted vs. kept

Deleted (in-app or by email request)

• All local tasks, subtasks, categories, reminders, repeat rules, and notes
• Saved Google sign-in token on this device
• The analytics profile and historical events linked to your Google account identifier

Kept

• Backup files you exported using the in-app backup feature stay on your own device or wherever you saved them. The app never uploads them.
• Aggregated, fully anonymised analytics counts that have been used in product reports may be retained, in a form that cannot be linked back to your account.
